Plumbing estimating and flat-rate pricing software

Quote the repair at the kitchen sink, from your own flat-rate prices, and get a signature before the wrench comes out.

The problem

Quoting from memory costs money

Two plumbers from the same company will price the same water heater differently if the price lives in their heads. One undercharges, one loses the job, and a customer who compares notes with a neighbor trusts neither.

A flat-rate price list fixes that, but only if it is in the plumber's hand at the moment they are quoting, and only if the approved quote carries through to the invoice.

How it works

From price list to signed estimate

  1. Build your price list

Enter your flat-rate repairs, parts and labor once. You set the prices, and they are the same for every plumber.

  2. Quote on site

Pick items from the list to build the estimate. Add options, such as repair or replace, so the customer can choose.

  3. Get approval

The customer reads the estimate on their phone and approves it with a signature.

  4. Carry it through

The approved estimate becomes the job, and the invoice is built from it when the work is done.

Questions

Plumbing estimating software: common questions

Does MarsSuite include a plumbing price book?

No. You enter your own flat-rate prices for repairs, parts and labor, and every estimate is built from that list.

Can I offer the customer more than one option?

Yes. An estimate can include several options, such as a repair, a standard replacement and an upgrade.

What happens after the customer approves?

The approved estimate becomes a job you can schedule, and the invoice is created from it when the work is finished.
