Contractor estimating and invoicing software
From the signed estimate to the last progress payment, the numbers for a project stay in one place.
The estimate and the invoices drift apart
A remodel starts with an estimate and ends, weeks later, with a final invoice. In between come a deposit and two or three progress payments. When each of those is a separate document, the totals stop agreeing and the last conversation with the customer is an argument about what was included.
A small contractor may not need bid management or takeoff tools. What they need is for the estimate, the schedule and the billing to stay connected.
One project, one set of numbers
Write the estimate
Build it from line items for labor, materials and subcontracted work, using your saved prices.
Get it signed
The customer approves the estimate with a signature. That version is the record of what was agreed.
Bill as the work progresses
Send a deposit invoice at signing and progress invoices at the milestones you set.
Close it out
Send the final invoice at completion. The job shows what has been billed and what has been paid.
What you get
What it does not do. MarsSuite is not takeoff or bid management software, and it is not an accounting system. It handles the estimate, the schedule and the invoices for the job.
- Detailed, line-item estimates
- Customer signature on the estimate
- Deposit, progress and final invoices
- Billed and paid totals on the job
- Photos of each stage kept with the project
- Work scheduled in phases

Contractor estimating software: common questions
Can I invoice at milestones?
Yes. Send progress invoices at the milestones you choose, such as after rough-in or before finishes, plus a deposit at signing and a final invoice at completion.
Does it do takeoffs from plans?
No. You enter the line items and quantities. MarsSuite does not read drawings.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. MarsSuite creates and tracks invoices for your jobs. It is not a general ledger or a tax tool.
